A bit about me…

For the last 11 years I have worked in the Finance Industry, nearly 8 of those have been spent coaching, leading and developing people as an Operations Manager. I’m forever on the move, I rarely sit still (unless I am hooked on a new TV series, I do sometimes like the occasional binge watch to wind down at night…). My mind is constantly buzzing with thoughts about the next thing, whether it's generating fresh ideas for my business or working towards the next life milestone. I am very routine driven, something that can actually be quite annoying, but it’s also part of how I stay disciplined!

As someone who enjoys working with people and is passionate about health and fitness, I decided to train to become a Personal Trainer and it has been one of the best decisions of my life. Luke Campbell Fitness has been trading for just over 12 months but in that short time it has changed the lives of over 150 people.

I have been underweight and I have been overweight so I know how it feels to want to make changes, but not know where to start. I know how hard it can be to reach out for help and how easy social media makes looking after your health look. I started this business on my own with one goal: to help people like me get on track with their health and fitness.

Before starting this business I had no prior experience in running any other businesses, unless you count selling sweets at school as one or starting your own snow shovelling business the only year it didn't snow back in primary? But I have thoroughly enjoyed the whole learning process and watching it grow. I have made countless mistakes and will likely continue to. My current motto is to fail fast, learn quick and move on to the next thing. I now have a small team including Aaron; a top Coach, Emmanuelle; a Marketing Expert and Max; a slick Graphic Designer, I could not be prouder.

Even as a coach myself, I have personally invested in having my own coach. Someone to continue to learn from, to help hold me accountable (yes, even PTs struggle with that at times) and to allow me to to focus on self-development which helps me grow and continue to become a better coach.

Outside of working with people, I also like to have time to myself. Keeping with the health and fitness theme, I have decided to train to compete in 2025 with multiple natural bodybuilding federations (Men's Physique), the main ones being WNBF, UKDFBA & PCA Naturals. Over the next 18 months I will be up against some of the biggest challenges of my life and I am ready to be pushed way outside of my comfort zone.

Social media is full of absolute bullsh*t. My aim is to provide you with everything you need to achieve your own personal health and fitness goals. What you see with us is real life, the body transformations we post are REAL. They are real people, in similar situations as I was, who are committed to learning more about nutrition and training and how to build in little changes to improve their overall quality of life. I wouldn't ask a client to do something I wouldn't be prepared to do myself. We don’t offer fad diets and no unrealistic, aggressive calorie deficits that we all know can't be sustained. There are no quick fixes. It takes hard work and determination but with the right direction, you can achieve lasting results.
